About this resource

In this dual language lea faka Tonga and English picture book, written by Feana Tu‘akoi and illustrated by Andrew Burdan, Leka attends her nena’s funeral with her mum and dad. Leka’s real name is ‘Ofa, just like Nena. After the funeral, she realises that there is a way to keep the memory of Nena close. “You can call me ‘Ofa now,” she tells her parents.
