New resources to help you choose and use a curriculum pathway

Early learning services will start using the updated Early Learning Curriculum Framework from 1 May this year. To help you understand what that means for you and your service, we’ve developed some new resources that we’re excited to share with you. Some of them help you pick and choose the curriculum pathway that’s best suited to your service, and others help you understand the pathways so that you can be confident in using them. Resources being sent straight to services
Keep an eye out for these resources, which have already been sent to services for you to use:
- Updated posters that show the full framework of Te Ara Whānui and Te Ara Māori, to help you understand the difference between the two pathways.
- Goals cards for Te Ara Whānui and Te Ara Māori to help you learn more about the different parts of the updated curriculum framework.
- Te Ara Māori learning outcome cards to help you become familiar with Te Ara Māori learning outcomes.
